This tournament has been considered the finest Hispanic basketball tournament in the country. There have been waiting lists for teams in all divisions wanting to participate in this annual event and every year teams are turned away. Please visit the list of teams to see that they come from all over the country to participate. I would also like to personally thank all the teams, players, families, friends and sponsors who have made this annual tournament a huge success.
In addition, I would especially like to thank the officials that make this event possible. All of the games are officiated using three-person mechanics and all of the officials are volunteers. Not one official has ever been paid to officiate in this tournament and that will not change. Over the years we have had the pleasure of having over 25 NBA referees donate their time, as well as hundreds of Division-I and Junior college referees. Their continued support and participation is greatly appreciated.
